IPTVever – IPTV Subscription for People Who Have Switched Before

Adding a Second Line in IPTV Smarters Pro

Smarters is the player most people are already on when they decide to move, largely because it exists everywhere and costs nothing. That makes it the easiest place to do this properly, because it holds multiple users: your current provider and a new one sit side by side and you switch between them from the profile screen. Almost nobody knows that feature is there, which is why people cancel first and hope — the exact thing that made the last purchase a gamble.

What to have ready

  • Any supported device, which is very nearly all of them
  • Your new IPTVever username, password and server address
  • Your existing provider still active

Still on your old provider? Run a 24-hour test line beside it — nothing needs cancelling first — or look at what the plans cost.

The move, one step at a time

  1. Find the profile screen

Open Smarters and look for the user or profile selector — on most builds it is the first screen you see, or reachable from the menu. This is where multiple accounts live. If you have only ever had one provider you may never have seen it, which is precisely why this page exists.

    Get credentials to move with

  2. Choose Add User, not Edit

The distinction matters and it is the whole difference between a safe comparison and a leap of faith. Add User creates a second account beside the first. Editing overwrites what is there, and if the new line disappoints you will have lost the old credentials unless you saved them. Save them anyway before you start, as a matter of habit.

  3. Pick the Xtream Codes option

Accept the terms if prompted and select Login with Xtream Codes API. Ignore the M3U route unless support points you at it: Xtream pulls the programme guide and on-demand catalogue by itself, and the playlist route frequently does not, which then gets blamed on the new subscription rather than on the choice of login method.

  4. Enter the credentials and name it clearly

Any profile name, then username, password and server address including http:// and the port, exactly as sent. Name it something recognisable, because you are about to be switching between two profiles repeatedly. If it refuses, the server field is the culprit far more often than the password, and a trailing space from the chat is the usual mechanism.

  5. Let the guide populate before judging it

Channels, on-demand titles and programme data now download. The guide can take several minutes to fill in properly, so do not draw conclusions in the first thirty seconds — a partially loaded guide looks exactly like a broken one, and comparing a loaded guide against a loading one is not a comparison. Under Settings, EPG, switch on "Enable EPG on live TV" so it shows over a playing channel.

  6. Set the decoder identically on both

Settings, then Player settings, and choose the built-in player with hardware decoding. Make sure both profiles are on the same setting before comparing, or you will be measuring a decoder difference and attributing it to a provider. This single oversight accounts for a startling share of unfair comparisons and of complaints that were never about the service.

  7. Switch between them during something live

Same channel, same evening, one after the other. Ten channels rather than one, including the regional or international feeds, because those are what tends to go missing at the cheaper end. When you have decided, delete the losing profile from the same screen you added it on.

If something does not behave

Your account is expired

That is a subscription reaching its end date rather than a fault in the app, and the wording alarms people. If it appears on the old profile while the new one works, your previous provider's term has simply run out. Renew whichever you intend to keep; nothing needs reinstalling and no settings are lost.

The channel list is empty after a successful login

Pull down to refresh, then sign out and back in. If it stays bare, something in the server address is wrong — the port is the usual offender — and the app will have accepted the login while being unable to fetch anything behind it. That combination is confusing and is the ordinary case rather than a rare one.

The app keeps closing on a Firestick

Clear its cache under Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, then reopen. If it persists, remove it and install a current build. An old APK on a stick that has since updated Fire OS is a common cause, and no amount of cache clearing fixes that version of it.

The guide is right but shifted by an hour

A timezone setting rather than a data problem. Check the device clock is on automatic and that the app's EPG timeshift is at zero. Two separate places, and people habitually adjust whichever one was already correct. Check it on both profiles before deciding one provider's guide is wrong.

Other players that take the same credentials

Try it on your IPTV Smarters Pro without cancelling anything

A test line runs beside whatever you are paying for now, so you can compare the same channels on the same hardware on the same evening. Plans open at $15 a month for the full 25,000+ line-up.

What people ask when moving a IPTV Smarters Pro

How many providers can it hold?

Several. The practical limit is your patience with the profile list rather than anything in the app. Two is what most people need while switching; you add the new one, compare for a day or two, and delete the old one when you are sure.

Is it genuinely free?

The app is free on every platform and always has been. What catches people out is that it arrives empty — it carries no channels whatsoever and nothing appears until a subscription is entered as an Xtream login. Nothing is ever charged inside the app, by us or by anybody, and a provider who told you otherwise was not telling the truth.

What is an IPTV Smarters Pro subscription?

Strictly, no such product exists. People searching that phrase want a service that works inside the app, which is what this is: an Xtream account carrying the channel list and catalogue, entered once and then working on every device you own. The app and the subscription are separate things from separate parties — which is also why changing provider does not mean changing app.

Should I switch to TiViMate while I am at it?

Not in the same week. Change one thing at a time or you will not know which change caused any problem you hit. Move the line into Smarters, live with it for a few days, and consider TiViMate afterwards if you are on Android hardware and want a better guide.

Why does it look different on my phone and my television?

There are separate builds for mobile and television interfaces, laid out for a touchscreen and a remote respectively. Settings sit in different places and a few options exist on one and not the other. Same account, same login, different shell — worth knowing before you go hunting for a menu that is not there on that device.

The on-demand section is empty but live TV works. Why?

The catalogue loads separately from the channel list and takes longer, particularly on a first run. Give it a few minutes and refresh. If it stays empty, you may have signed in with an M3U link rather than the Xtream option, which does not carry the catalogue at all — and that would be a setup choice rather than a difference between providers.
