IPTVever – IPTV Subscription for People Who Have Switched Before

The 45 Questions People Ask Before Switching

Everything put to us on WhatsApp by people who already have IPTV and are weighing whether to change, grouped by subject. Each answer opens with the short version so you can stop reading once you have it.

For context: IPTVever is a subscription of 25,000+ live channels and 120,000+ films and series, opening at $15 a month, with a 24-hour line that runs alongside whatever you are on now and 7 days to reverse the decision afterwards. Some of the answers below are not flattering to us. They are here anyway, because the ones people only discover after paying are the ones that turn into refunds — and, further down the line, into somebody else reading a page like this one.

Thinking about moving

Do I have to cancel my current provider first?

No, and you should not. Ask for a test line and add it as a second playlist in the player you already use — TiViMate and IPTV Smarters both hold several at once. Your existing subscription keeps running untouched. Compare them on the same evening, then let the old one lapse rather than cancelling into the unknown.

How long does moving actually take?

About ten minutes for the first screen and roughly two for each one after. You are not reinstalling anything: the account is a standard Xtream login, so you add a playlist to the app you already have and type in three values. Your favourites on the old line stay where they are until you delete it.

Will my existing player and box still work?

Almost certainly. Fire TV Stick, Android TV and boxes, Samsung and LG sets from 2016 onward, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Roku, Windows, Mac, MAG and Formuler are all covered. Whatever you configured for the last provider takes these credentials the same way. That is the whole reason moving is a quick job rather than a project.

What stops the same thing happening again?

Honestly, nothing can be promised outright, and a provider who says otherwise is the sort you just left. What can be checked is the shape of the thing: published prices, a written refund policy, a test line you can run alongside, and somebody answering before you have paid. Buy a month rather than a year and the downside stays small.

What does it cost?

One month on a single stream is $15. A full year is $69, around $5.75 a month. Tiers for two, three and five people watching at once are on the pricing page. If you have just lost money on a provider that vanished, take the month — the saving on a year is not worth the exposure until you trust the thing.

How do I compare two providers properly?

Write down the ten channels you would genuinely miss and open those ten on both lines, at the hour you normally watch, on the television you actually use, ideally with something live running. A count of 25,000+ is irrelevant if your ten are not in it. Do not compare on a quiet weekday morning; everybody looks competent then.

Is the sport any good at peak?

That is where most people were let down last time, and it is decided by capacity rather than anything clever. The NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League, Champions League, UFC and boxing pay-per-view have dedicated channels, many with a 4K feed on the night. Test it during a real fixture instead of taking our word for it.

Can I keep my old channel numbering and favourites?

Favourites belong to the app rather than to the subscription, so they survive on whichever playlist you built them on. Channel numbering will not match between providers and there is no way around that. TiViMate lets you renumber manually, which is worth doing for your thirty regulars and not worth doing for anything else.

What connection do I need?

Roughly 10 Mbps for HD and 25 for 4K. If your old service stuttered on a good connection, that was capacity at their end rather than yours. If it stuttered on everything including streaming apps, the connection is worth fixing first, because no provider will rescue an overloaded wifi network.

What if it turns out no better?

You have 7 days. If it repeats what you left and support cannot sort it out, say so inside that window and the money comes back in full. The refund page sets out what is covered and what is not, in plain terms, before you buy rather than after — which is itself part of the answer.

How many people can watch at once?

Whatever your tier allows, and this is the only thing the tiers change. Install the player on every device in the house; the limit is on simultaneous viewing, not installations. If two people regularly want different things at the same time, that is what the two-person tier is for, and it is worth getting right when you move.

Why is everything handled on WhatsApp?

Because you can ask a real question before paying and get a real answer, which is the test most providers fail. It also means that when something breaks at eleven at night you are messaging the same thread rather than filling in a form. If the last one went quiet after the sale, this is the difference worth checking early.

What it costs

What is the monthly figure?

A single month is $15. Bought longer the rate falls: $29 for three months, $45 for six, $69 for twelve, which works out near $5.75 a month. The table above adds the columns for two, three and five people watching simultaneously.

Should I take a year if I am switching?

No. Take a month, and we will say that even though the year is better for us. You have just been burned by committing to somebody who did not last, so the sensible move is to risk $15 rather than $69 while you find out. Buy the year in month two if it has held up.

What does a year cost on each tier?

Twelve months is $69 for one person watching, $119 for two, $159 for three and $239 for five. Each carries the identical 25,000+ channels and 120,000+ on-demand titles. You are buying simultaneous viewers, never a bigger library — and a provider whose dearer plan adds channels has built the tier to confuse you.

Will the price go up at renewal?

No, and this is worth asking wherever you go next. Nothing renews automatically here: when a term ends you get a message and you decide. An introductory rate that quietly becomes a different rate is one of the commonest reasons people end up shopping again, and it is a deliberate design rather than an accident.

How do I pay?

The options are set out in the WhatsApp conversation, because what works varies a great deal by country. One rule regardless of who you buy from: never type full card details into a chat window. If a seller asks you to, you have learned something useful about them at no cost.

Can I move up a tier partway through?

Yes, at any point. Message us and the line moves to the higher tier, charged only on the difference across the time remaining rather than restarting the term. Your credentials keep working unchanged, so nothing on any device needs touching.

Why not just take the cheapest one I can find?

Because you probably already did, and that is why you are reading this page. Bandwidth, servers and people have a cost floor; a year sold for $20 is beneath it, so something is subsidising it and that something does not last. We are not the cheapest and would rather explain the price than disguise it.

I lost money when my last provider vanished. Any protection here?

Only the structural kind, and we will not pretend otherwise. Buy monthly and your exposure is one month. Use the 7-day window if the service is not as described. Beyond that, no IPTV seller can insure you against their own disappearance, and anyone claiming to is selling you a feeling rather than a protection.

What arrives when I pay?

A server address, a username, a password and an M3U link, in the same chat. Put them into the player you already have, replacing the test values or sitting alongside the old provider as a second playlist. The list populates itself, and the whole thing is normally done under 15 minutes after the payment clears.

Do I need new hardware?

Very unlikely, since whatever ran the last service will run this one. If you were about to replace a struggling box anyway, a Fire TV Stick at $30 to $50 covers most cases and a Formuler or MAG at $120 to $180 is worth it only on a main television watched daily.

What are the limits on the refund?

It covers the service not working on your equipment where support cannot fix it. It does not cover changing your mind after a fortnight of watching happily. Stating that here rather than at the moment you ask is deliberate; a policy you only discover when you need it is not really a policy.

Is 4K an extra?

No. Where a 4K feed genuinely exists it is open on every plan, with no premium tier and no surcharge. Those feeds sit beside HD copies of the same channels, which matters on a busy evening: there is somewhere to drop to instead of losing the picture entirely.

When should I run the test line?

On a busy evening, in parallel with what you have now. That is the comparison you could not make when you bought last time, and it is the only one that settles anything. A Tuesday at eleven in the morning will tell you that credentials work, which was never in doubt.

Can I pay for a month and add the rest later?

Yes. Start monthly, and when you want to commit we credit what remains and move you onto the longer term rather than making you start again. Nobody should be pushed into a year in their first fortnight, least of all somebody who has just had one go wrong.

Running two at once

Can it really run alongside my current subscription?

Yes, and that is the point of it. TiViMate, IPTV Smarters and most other players hold more than one playlist, so you add ours as a second entry and switch between them with a couple of clicks. Nothing about your existing line is touched, and you cancel nothing until you have seen both.

Is the test line cut down?

No. It carries everything a paid account does: all 25,000+ channels, the full on-demand catalogue, the programme guide and the 4K feeds, for 24 hours. A trimmed demo would make the comparison worthless, which is presumably why the service you are leaving may have offered you one.

Do I hand over card details?

No card, no billing information, nothing to remember to cancel. The line is arranged over WhatsApp or through the form here, runs for 24 hours and expires by itself. It cannot convert into a paid plan because there is nothing on file to charge.

How quickly does it arrive?

Usually a few minutes. Lines are issued by hand in the conversation rather than by an automated system, which is fractionally slower at four in the morning but means the same person can help you add it as a second playlist while you are already talking to them.

What should I be looking for during the test?

Three things. Whether your own ten channels are present. Whether the picture holds at the hour you actually watch, with something live on. And whether it behaves on the television you use rather than the laptop that happens to be nearest. Compare each against the same channel on your current line, side by side.

Can I have a second one?

Generally one per household, because the line exists to settle a comparison rather than to supply free television. If the first attempt was genuinely wasted — a quiet night with nothing worth testing on, or a device that turned out to be the obstacle — say so and we will usually extend it rather than argue.

Hardware and players

Do I have to reinstall anything?

No. The account is a standard Xtream login, so whatever player you configured for your last provider takes these credentials the same way. In TiViMate it is Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login; in IPTV Smarters it is adding another user. You are typing three values into an app you already know, which is why the whole move takes an evening rather than a weekend.

Should I replace my box while I am at it?

Only if it was struggling before. A Fire TV Stick 4K Max at under $50 handles 4K and takes every app by sideload. An Nvidia Shield is faster and costs more than a year of subscription. A Formuler Z11 at $120 to $180 earns its place on a main television watched daily. If the old service stuttered on a decent box, the box was rarely the reason.

Which player should I be on?

TiViMate if you are on Android hardware and watch live sport — the guide and multi-view are worth the roughly ten dollars a year. IPTV Smarters if you want one free app across Android, Apple, Samsung, LG and a laptop. On a Samsung or LG with nothing plugged in, your realistic options are IPTV Smarters or Smart IPTV from the television's own store.

How many channels will I actually use?

Far fewer than any count suggests, and that is normal rather than disappointing. The account lists 25,000+ live channels and 120,000+ films and series; in practice most households build a favourites row of fifty to a hundred. Judge a move on those fifty, not on the headline, because the headline is the number providers compete to inflate.

Does this replace Netflix?

It does not, and a seller who implied it did was stretching things. Netflix runs its own subscription, licenses its own catalogue and has no relationship with any IPTV service. What sits in your player is a separate library which happens to overlap with what the streaming platforms carry. Useful, often substantial, and a different product — worth knowing before you cancel anything else.

Does the US sport carry over from my last provider?

The national channels almost certainly do — ESPN, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, NFL Network and both Fox Sports channels are standard. What you must not assume is the regional tier, which differs provider to provider and is where switchers get caught out. Name your market in the chat and check it on a line before the old one expires.

Legality and risk

Is the technology itself lawful?

Completely, and it is not close. Television over an internet protocol is what Hulu, Sling and YouTube TV do, and what every large telecoms company operates. Where the law becomes interesting is whether a particular seller may distribute the channels it carries, which is about companies rather than about protocols. Our legality piece separates the two properly.

Is blocking by my ISP a real risk?

In Britain and parts of Europe, yes, and it is usually confined to particular servers during football. Court orders drive it. Several routes and independent DNS mitigate it, and a VPN sidesteps it altogether. In the United States it is not currently happening at all. What nobody can offer is a promise it will never happen — treat one as a warning about the seller.

How would I know if my broadband supplier is throttling me?

By the shape of the failure. Trouble confined to certain hours, or present on the home line and absent on another, points squarely at the network rather than the service. Run the same credentials over mobile data for ten minutes. Plenty of people have changed provider over this and carried the problem with them.

What is the actual risk to me as a viewer?

In the United States enforcement concentrates on operators and sellers; individual viewers are rarely pursued. In the UK and the EU, viewers have received warning letters and, in a small number of cases, fines. That is the honest picture. Read the legality guide and decide for yourself rather than taking reassurance from a sales page.

Selling it yourself

My own supplier disappeared. Can I resell here?

Yes, and it is worth saying that this happens to resellers more often than to end customers, because you carry the relationship and they carry the blame. You buy credits at wholesale, get a panel for issuing lines, and sell under your own name. Tell us what went wrong last time before you buy a pack; that conversation is more useful than the rate card.

How quickly can I start?

Send the word reseller on WhatsApp. We go through the credit packs, hand over panel access the same day, and include a starter guide on pricing and looking after customers. We will also say plainly if we think the market you have in mind is not worth the effort, which is not something a rate card will ever tell you.

How do I avoid picking another bad supplier?

Insist on four things and walk away from anyone short of them: an address on the open web rather than a chat handle, a published price you did not have to ask for, a line you can genuinely test, and refund terms written somewhere permanent. Apply that to us as readily as to the next one — it is the same test that would have caught your last supplier.

Moving from somewhere else?

Tell us what you are on now and what went wrong with it, and we will say plainly whether this fixes it. A 24-hour test line runs alongside your current subscription, so nothing has to be cancelled first.
